About SHCF
The Squamish Health Care Foundation Society has raised more than $1.5 million to improve health care throughout our community and the wider Sea to Sky region. The SHCF was originally founded by Doctor Laverne Kindree and is comprised of a Board of 12 Directors that is representative of the Sea to Sky community, particularly Squamish.
We are proud to have our First Nations community represented by two members on our Board. The heath care interests of the First Nations community are well represented, as are those of the many ethnic groups that reside in the communities we serve.
